Did you look at the sky today?

It amazes me. Whenever I look up. It’s like a new world in itself. How can something be so imperfectly perfect. There is something in the sky that straight away connects to something inside you. It is just so beautiful. It has so much to say. Take this picture for instance. It has white and grey clouds, it has rays of sunlight coming out from the clouds, it has a lush green tree, it has a bird and it has an infinitely big sky. Is it just that? No. It has peace. It has hope. And it has happiness. Again, is it just that? No. It also has pain. It has sadness. And it has darkness. It shines, but it also has scars. Maybe that’s why sky just connects to each one of us. Sky moves with us. Sky stays with us. Where does it move with us? Nowhere. Where does it move with us? Everywhere.

The State Of Bleeding Heart

Recently I learnt one of the most important lessons of life. Life is too short to think about if you’re making everyone happy. The only person you should concentrate in making happy ever is you. Everyone in this world should be responsible for their own happiness. You are not everyone’s unpaid therapist. By this, I don’t mean you should stop caring about the other people or stop being empathetic towards them. What I mean over here is that if your gave your best, you should not ruin your mood just because the other person is unhappy with you. Being happy or unhappy is a state of mind for which an individual is responsible solely. So stop blaming yourself for other person’s unhappiness. Acknowledge your emotions. Acknowledge that you are doing the best you can. Tell yourself that you are not to be blamed if some other person is unhappy with you. The fault is not in you. This is for all those people who are too soft hearted and take things directly to heart. Maybe we won’t ever learn this lesson. Maybe our brain is wired this way. Maybe we will always stay in the state of a bleeding heart.

PS That’s the abstract art I made to showcase the state of bleeding heart. 🙂

Also, I feel that the ones who feel emotions at very high intensity are very strong. It’s a strength indeed.

On Being Grateful!

This picture I clicked while I was travelling by train to one of my taekwondo championships. The train happens to stop in this slum area, and I saw a father taking his son around on scooter. The son was so happy just being there with his father as if all his life he wanted to accomplish this only. That made me realize, we can have anything in the world and still it won’t be enough. There will always be people who are doing better than you. Always. So what matters the most is how you stay happy in what you have. Even the person we idealize the most does not have enough in his own eyes. We are blessed with this life and we should fill it with moments of happiness with all the things we have.

Always be grateful of what you have.
